Zambia Customer Orders Wood Shavings Machine
A customer in Zambia recently ordered two wood shavings machines, one SL-1500 model and one SL-1200 model. The industrial wood shaving machine is used for the local processing of wood shavings and animal bedding.
After production begins, the finished wood shavings will be mainly supplied to local large-scale farms, while also meeting the market demand for packaging fillers, helping customers to establish a complete production chain for the resource utilization of wood waste.
Two Wood Shavings Machines for Different Production Needs
The customer chose two models with different capacities to build a flexible production setup.
The SL-1500 wood shaving making machine has a processing capacity of approximately 2,000 kg/h, is equipped with a 75 kW motor, and has a 400 × 400 mm feeding inlet.
The customer also selected the SL-1200, which can process approximately 1,500–1,800 kg/h. It is equipped with a 55 kW motor and a 270 × 270 mm feeding inlet.
With two machines working together, the total theoretical processing capacity can reach approximately 3,500–3,800 kg/h, making this configuration suitable for customers with relatively high production requirements.
Spare Blades Prepared for Continued Production
The customer also purchased spare blades for both machines. Each set contains 8 blades, with a stated service life of approximately 3–5 months. Six sets of spare blades were included for each model.
Preparing spare blades together with the wood shaving processing machines, this helps the customer have replacement parts available for future maintenance. For a machine used regularly, this can help avoid unnecessary waiting when blades need to be replaced.
Wooden Crate Packaging of the Wood Shavings Machine
Before shipment, the fine wood shavings machine was carefully prepared for international transportation.
The order required three wooden crates for transportation. The wooden-crate packaging provides a stable structure for the machines and helps protect the equipment during handling and transportation.
The motors and other components were also protected with wrapping materials before shipment. This helps reduce the risk of dust, moisture, and surface damage during the long-distance transportation from China to Zambia.
After-Sales Support for the Customer
We provide a one-year quality assurance period for the wood shaving equipment and lifetime technical support. Spare parts are also available for future maintenance.
The installation process is designed to be relatively simple, and installation instructions are provided to help customers complete the setup. If required, engineering support for installation, commissioning, and operator training is also available.

The value of a wood shavings machine is not limited to producing wood shavings. It can help businesses create a new product from materials that might otherwise have little commercial value.
